Knitted Vest and Booties Pattern For Babies

VEST PATTERN FEATURES

Charts for Baby Vest Pattern

BACK

  1. Start with 80 stitches with 969 numbered yarn. Knit 7 cm 1+1 rib stitch.
  2. Stitches are knitted from 14 knit stitch, 2 purl mark with 99076 numbered yarn.
  3. Cut 3+2+1 stitches from both of the sides for armhole at the 20 cm body length.
  4. Center the stitches for the collar at 32,5 cm body length and cut the 40 stitches at the middle.
  5. Complete by cutting 14 stitches on the next row in shoulders.

 

FRONT

  1. Start 40 stitches with 969 numbered yarn. Knit 7 cm 1+1 rib stitch and then apply the chickpea sample with 99076 numbered yarn.
  2. Cut 3+2+1 stitches from a side for armhole at the 20 cm body length and cut 1 stitch for 20 times with 23 row spacing on the center of the middle which is in the same row with armhole.
  3. Complete by cutting 14 remaining stitches on the shoulder at the 33,5 cm body length.

 

ARM RIBS

Take 38 stitches on the needle from the around of the armhole with 969 numbered yarn. Complete by knitting 2 cm 1+1 rib stitch.

 

COLLAR

Take 222 stitches on the needle from the around and from sides of the collar with 969 numbered yarn. Complete by knitting 2 cm 1+1 rib stitch.

 

Pocket Ribs

Start 24 stitches with 969 numbered yarn. Complete by knitting 2 cm 1+1 rib stitch.

 

BOOTIES

  1. First prepare the sole. Start 6 stitches with 214 numbered yarn. Knit stockinette stitch.
  2. Reach 14 stitches by increasing one stitch on each row for 4 times in both sides.
  3. Knit 5 cm and decrease to 6 stitches by cutting one stitch on each row for 4 times in both sides.
  4. Cut the remaining 6 stitches and complete.
  5. Get 20 stitches on the needle with 214 numbered yarn from the areas shown on the diagram for the back of the booties. Knit 3,5 cm stockinette stitch and complete.
  6. Get 15 stitches on the needle with 214 numbered yarn from the areas shown on the chart for the tip of the booties.
  7. Cut 1 stitch for 6 times from both sides after knitting 1 stockinette stitch.
  8. Cut the remaining 3 stitches on the next row and complete.
  9. Get 8 stitches on the needle with 969 numbered yarn for the sides, complete by knitting 6 cm stockinette stitch. Repeat the procedure for the other side.
  10. Knit the same numbered areas together that are shown on the diagram and prepare cordon for the top side with 214 numbered yarn.
