Knitting Pattern: Stylish Cardigan with Colorful Stripes

Color No: 11572 (5 skeins), 11586, 11580, 11579, 11583 (1 skein each)

Needle Size: 6

Applied Knitting Technique: Stockinette stitch, 1×1 ribbing

BACK:

1- Using two strands of yarn in color no. 11572, cast on 60 stitches, work 5 cm (10 rows) of 1×1 ribbing, then switch to stockinette stitch.

2- Knit 6 cm (12 rows) using the 11572 and 11586 yarns held together, then knit 6 cm (12 rows) using two strands of yarn in color no. 11572, followed by 6 cm (12 rows) using the 11572 and 11580 yarns held together, 6 cm (12 rows) using two strands of yarn in color no. 11572, 2 cm (4 rows) using two strands of yarn in color no. 11572 and 11583 held together, 6 cm (12 rows) using two strands of yarn in color no. 11572, 6 cm (12 rows) using the 11572 and 11579 yarns held together, and finally 6 cm (12 rows) using two strands of yarn in color no. 11572.

3- After knitting 8 rows (total length of back piece is 53 cm), center the stitches for the neckline and continue knitting each half separately after cutting 10 stitches from the center.

4- Cast off 7+7+7 stitches from each shoulder and decrease 1 stitch 4 times at the neckline to finish.

FRONTS:

1- Using two strands of yarn in color no. 11572, cast on 30 stitches and knit using the same color transitions as the back piece.

2- Continue 1×1 ribbing for 6 stitches at the center of the front piece.

3- When the length of the piece is 52 cm, decrease 1 stitch 3 times at the neckline starting from 6 stitches beside the 6 stitches for the ribbing, while casting off 7+7+7 stitches from each shoulder as in the back piece.

4- Knit 6 cm (12 rows) of 1×1 ribbing for the neckline with the 6 stitches used for the ribbing at the center, then cast off.

SLEEVES:

1- Using two strands of yarn in color no. 11572, cast on 30 stitches and knit using the same color transitions as the front and back pieces, with 8 rows for each color change.

2- Increase 10 stitches in the first row of stockinette stitch, and knit the sleeve for 40 cm.

3- Cast off to finish.
