Free neck warmer and gloves knitting pattern

This very easy unisex knitting pattern to knit a neck warmer / knit cowl for that love person on your list.

This cowl can easily be modified and sized to be worn as a wider & longer neck warmer depending on your taste. It’s up to your creativity. Color preferences and line thicknesses are also editable.

The Nako Chunky yarn was a pleasure to work with… Even though it was bulkier, the yarn maintained its softness throughout creating a so versatile and soft cowl or neck warmer. (Use this yarn if available or choose a yarn you know)

Instructions

How to knit neck warmer

Cast on 120 stitches with yarn color no.257 and change to knit stitch. After purling rows, knitting rows, purl rows with yarn color no.185 Continue knitting with yarn color no.257. Knit for 10 cm and cast off 1 stitch 20 times spacing 5 stitches. Knit remaining 100 stitches for 20 cm. Then cast off all stitches together and bind off.

How to knit gloves

Actually, we didn’t think of it as a knit set when we were preparing this pattern, but then we decided to add these wonderful gloves to the pattern. This glove pattern with similar lines extends to the arms, providing excellent protection. You can also use only cropped gloves as knitting patterns.

Cast on 38 stitches with yarn color no.257 and change to knit stitch. After purling 4 rows, knitting 4 rows for 4 cm, knit 4 rows with yarn color no.185. Again purl 4 rows, knit 4 rows with yarn color no.257. After knitting gloves for 20 cm, change to yarn color no.185 and purl for 4 rows. Change to yarn color no.257 and continue knitting with stockinette stitch. Knit 2 rows and then keep 12 stitches for the finger. Knit the remaining stitches until the gloves measure 30 cm and cast off at once, and bind off. Increase 1 stitch inside on 12 stitches kept and knit for 3 cm. Bind off.
