INSTRUCTIONS:

BACK SIDE:

Cast on 86 stitches with yarn color no.85804. Knit garter stitch for 2 cm and then change to stockinette stitch. When the body measures 10 cm, knit 22 stitches at both sides; pick up adjacent 2 stitches together and cast off 1; work 1×1 cable with the adjacent 1 stitch and 1 stitch that has been cast off; knit the stitches in the middle. Cross the 1×1 cables in every knit stitch row. Cast off 1 stitch 5 times totally from 22 stitches, spacing 2 cm and decrease to 17 stitches. After cast-off procedure is completed, begin knitting, slipping crossed stitches towards left and right side by 1 stitch in every knit stitch row. Knit body for 40 cm and cast off 2+1+1 stitches at both sides for the armhole. When the body measures 49 cm, center the stitches and cast off 12 stitches in the middle at once and continue knitting in 2 pieces. Cast off 5+5+4+3+2 stitches in every row at both sides of the neck. When the body measures 58 cm, cast off 9 stitches remaining on each shoulder at once and bind off.

  1. I want to knit the scarf and beanie knitting pattern by Jessica Los. I need more help than I am getting from the pattern. Can I pay you to assist me?

  2. How can you call this easy? I have been knitting for almost 50 years since I was 12 and the directions lost me in the second sentence with “knit 22 stitches on both sides”. Does that mean to add 22 stitches on each side or to add a second ball of yarn for the second side? The sleeve directions were even more puzzling. What is a slice and how is it made? Did any beginner test knitters figure this out?
