How to knit scarf vest
BACK PIECE:
First, we will knit the back part of the vest, examine it first, then start knitting. This will make your work easier.
1- Work as two pieces. Cast on 23 stitches; after 3 cm of 1+1 rib, switch to knit stitch.

2- When body length is 28 cm, work 3 x 1 stitches at every 2 rows at one end for 4 rows for neck opening and again, decrease 4 x 1 stitches at every 2 rows at the same end.
3- When body length is 40 cm, decrease 5 x 1 stitches at one end on every row for armhole.
4- When body length is 70 cm, finish by binding off 11 stitches remaining on shoulder.
FRONT PIECES:
1- Cast on 20 stitches; after 3 cm of 1+1 rib, continue with knit stitch.
2- When body length is 13 cm, decrease 4 x 1 stitches at center front at every 4 rows for neck opening.
3- When body length is 24 cm, start working all the stitches as tassels work w/ needle.
4- When body length is 25 cm, decrease 5 x 1 stitches on every row.
5- When body length is 55 cm, finish by binding off 11 stitches remaining on shoulder.
6- Cut the tassels pattern made by a scissor to give the tassels appearance.
PREPARATION:
1- After front and back is sewn on shoulders, starting from the center back neck, pick up 46 stitches up to shoulder and starting from shoulder, pick up 55 stitches down to front piece hemline. Finish after working 4 cm of 1+1 rib.
2- Make 3 buttonholes at 9-stitch intervals on the center front while working the right-hand side.
3- Decrease 4 x 1 stitches at the center back at every row start. Join and sew the places of decreases to each other.
4- Sew 10 cm at the bottom side of rib and leaved the bottom part open.
SCARF / NECK BRACE:
Scarf is quite easy to knit. You should pay attention to the number of stitches and dimensions. Cast on 61 stitches. Finish after working 12 cm as knit 2, purl 8, knit 2 and so on. Join and sew its two ends.

POCKET:
Cast on 13 stitches w/ yarn no. 10 and finish after working 13 cm of knit stitch.
I think I like your designs, however, you don’t offer enough visuals to know for sure…. You really should include at least a back photo to show the complete garment….. especially because your explanations are not very detailed, and your charts are super detailed. This vest and your “shawl-poncho” really need back views.
