How to do knit modern sweater:

BACK PIECE:

1- Work as two separate pieces. Cast on 35 stitches. Work 4 cm of 1+1 rib and switch to knit stitch.

4-When body length is 74 cm, divide the stitches as 8+35+18 starting from the side of increase.

5- Decrease 35-stitches in the center for neck opening and on the next row, finish by binding off 8 and 18 stitches remained at both sides for shoulders.

6- Pick up 187 stitches onto needle from the side of increase of the part worked. Finish after working 4 cm of 1+1 rib.

  1. Women’s modern sweater. I think the direction do not say enought no gauge no needle size or size chart. Yarnage for yarn

  2. Please can we have a sketch of the pieces.it says as per sketch in the pattern but I cannnot see one. It might be easier to know what it is supposed to look like at the back

  3. Row 7 of the back refers to a sketch, but I don’t see one. Is it possible to see the sketch or the back of this sweater?
    Thanks!

  4. Thank you my granddaughter is waiting for me to knit this. All I have to do is interpret your instructions which are a bit minimal. But here goes …..!

  5. Under the sleeve pattern, item 2, has me confused. I think it means that I should keep adding 2 stitches every 15 rows but the total stitches don’t come out to 92 unless I keep adding on.
Can you clear this up for me, please.
    Thank-you.
